In obedience to the orders of Your Excellency as conveyed in your letter to me of the 16th ult. last, I have the honour to advise Your Excellency, that in consequence of the requirements of the Surveyor General's Department, I have appointed Mr. Koll as overseer of Works in that Department upon a salary of £60 per month.
